Phyllis Dember of Union Island walked away with the 2014 Miss Easterval title on Sunday night.
On her way to taking the title, Miss Dember also took the awards for Best Talent and Best Evening wear.
Miss St. Lucia Racquel John took the position of First Runner-up, as well as the awards for Miss Photogenic and Best Cultural Wear while the Second Runner-up position went to Miss Barbados Tiffany Godridge who also received the award for Best Swim Wear.
The other contestants were Miss Trinidad Curlissa Charles, Miss St. Vincent Kizzy-Ann Black, Miss Canouan Melcia Antoine, and Miss Grenada Renisha Wells.
Chairman of the Union Island Easterval Committee Abdon Whyte said this year’s shows were not as well attended as in previous years, due to some challenges with transportation.
