The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Human Rights Association says it condemns the senseless murder of Senior Counsel Sana Seetahal in Trinidad.
Ms. Seetahal is a former President of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago, Tutor at Hugh Wooding Law School and author of several texts on Criminal Law and Procedure and several Legal articles.
The Association says the Senior Counsel will be missed by members of the Legal Fraternity, Human Rights activists and the public in general.
She was a leading prosecutor in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Association says the Senior Counsel’s death ought to act as a catalyst for providing proper facilities for the users of the Court here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and in the region.
