The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in collaboration with its Japanese counterparts and a number of non-governmental organizations continues to play a major role in the development of the fishing industry.
That is according to Chairman of the Fisherman’s Day Committee Winsbert Harry while speaking at the official launch of activities for the 39th anniversary of fisherman’s month last Friday.
Mr. Harry is also encouraging the nation to support the activities hosted for fisherman’s month.
