Two of the 2013 Miss SVG contestants are giving support to the CDC in preparing for this year’s MS SVG Pageant.
Chairperson of the Beauty shows committee, Cheryl Rodriguez announced that Hannah Hamilton and Marissa Endeavor are acting as chaperones for two of this year’s contestants.
Ms. Rodriguez said the 2013 Miss SVG contestants say see it as their way of assisting another young woman on her journey to the pageant.
She said Ms SVG Pageant has evolved into being more than a beauty pageant. She said it is a journey of molding young women through pageantry.
Ms. Rodriguez appealed to other past contestants, to follow suit and continue to be a part of the event. Miss SVG 2014 is the crowning of the 59th queen of carnival and it is being hosting under the theme, “a combination of passion and brilliance”
This year’s contestants are, Felicia Baptiste Miss Imperial Optical Corp, Selis Blair Miss Metrocint General Insurance, Shaquel Bobb Miss Agriculture Input Warehouse, Carla Gelizeau Miss Mustique Company, Shadeisha George, Miss Lime, Vanika Hope, Miss Super 6, Tatianna Lespierre Miss Bequia Beach Hotel and Jamilla Neverson, Miss Lotto.
