Calypsonians in Brooklyn, New York are gearing up for the launch of the Dynamites Tent Calypso Season scheduled to take place tonight.
Tent Leader Ainsley Primus says everything is in place for the launch on Friday May 16th at the Matrix Lounge in Brooklyn, New York.
Primus tells NBC News that the launch will feature fourteen Calypsonians, as well as Winston Soso and Scorcher as the Guest Artistes.
He says they are hoping to capture Calypso Monarch Title this year.
At the New Song Competition last weekend, Dennis Bowman placed first; Chang-I second and Curtis-C took the third spot.
