The local Calypsonians Association is calling on all entertainers to bring their best when they are performing for people during the 2014 Carnival Season.
This call was made by President of the Association, Anne Miller.
Miss Miller tells NBC News that the Association has been holding a series of developmental activities with local calypso artistes and they are expecting that this would be reflected in all of the shows.
Miss Miller says some innovations would be included in this year’s Calypso Semi-Finals dubbed Fantastic Friday on June 27th to ensure that everyone who attends a Carnival event leaves satisfied at the end.
Miss Miller is also reminding ALL Entertainers that they will not be judged on the number of radio plays and other aspects but instead on their performances on the night of their respective competitions.
