The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is today hosting an Expo at Hertitage Square in Kingstown to observe World Bio-Diversity Day.
Project Coordinator for Bi-Diversity in the Ministry of Health, Tashika Haynes said today’s expo is being held to showcase this country’s rich and diverse Bio-Diversity.
She said the one-day Expo is featuring a wide range of plants, craft, animals and other aspects of livelihood under the theme “Island Bio-Diversity”.
Miss Haynes also outlined some of what is being featured at today’s expo.
Miss Haynes said since this morning’s launch of the Expo many persons have been showing interest in it.
