Final arrangements are being put in place for the launch of carnival activities in North Windward this weekend.
Public Relations Officer of the North Windward Carnival Development Committee Shellisa Nanton says the launch is slated for this Saturday May 24th at the Chilli Playing Field.
Miss Nanton says this year’s launch will feature live performances from a number of local entertainers as well as the band Flavour out of Bequia.
The launch is set to begin at eight on Saturday night.
