Spring Village United advanced to the Knockout Final of the Hairoun Beer Biabou Football League following a 9-8 sudden death penalty kick victory over Highlanders of Richland Park after a one all draw yesterday at the Biabou Playing Field during regulation time.
Ivan Clarke scored for Spring Village United and the goal for Highlanders of Richland was scored by Kelroy Federicks.
After the first five penalties the scores were level at five all, but Spring Village United maintained their composure to earn the victory.
Today, LP Boys will meet COMPUTEC Cane End in the second semi-final from 4:30 pm also at the Biabou Playing Field.
The Knockout Final is scheduled for Sunday.
