Anticipation is building as the contestants in the 2014 Miss SVG Pageant make their final preparations for the show on Saturday night.
Today, the delegates will pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and members of Cabinet.
Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation CDC, Cheryl Rodriguez provided an update on plans for the Show, at a News Conference hosted by the CDC on Tuesday.
Ms. Rodriguez said the Committee is taking steps to ensure that the Show is of a high quality.
Ms. Rodriguez said patrons attending Saturday night’s show can look forward to a competition of an exceptionally high standard.
Saturday night’s show begins at eight at the Victoria Park.
