Activities to mark Nutrition Awareness Week 2014 will kick off on Sunday June 1st with a Church Service among other events.
Chief Nutritionist in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Andrea Robin tells NBC News the week of activities is held annually to promote good nutrition and wellness.
Mrs. Robin said this year the week of activities will take place from June 1st to 7th under the theme “Healthy Eating Active Living: Good Nutrition within Your Budget”.
She said the programme is also designed to promote the National Food Based Dietary Guidelines.
