Coordinator of Rural Carnival activities, Esworth “Ezzie” Roberts has said that Rural Carnival Activities have begun and are progressing well thus far.
Mr. Roberts said the number of participating communities was decreased from 12 to eight, as a result of several mergers that were aimed at minimizing the cost relating to security and the overall hosting the event.
He said these eight communities are hosting a wide range of activities which will complement the central Carnival activities scheduled to take place in Kingstown.
