Vincentians now have access to the services of a new Insurance Company.
Sun Group Inc, a Barbados-based company with offices throughout the Caribbean, officially launched Sun General Insurance here on Tuesday.
In his address at the ceremony, Managing Director, Alfredo Weatherhead said the Sun Group bought one-hundred percent of the shares of CLICO International General Insurance in February 2012.
He said the rebranding to Sun General is part of their continued drive to reposition the company as a leading choice for insurance throughout the Caribbean.
Sun General’s Operations in St. Vincent are managed by Yvonne Edwards-Williams with a staff complement of five persons.
The company’s office is located in the Kenmars Mall in Kingstown.
Sun General Insurance offers General Insurance Coverage under Home Motor, Marine, Travel, Bionds, Business and Commercial Lines.
Service is offered to customers through a network of ten offices in seven islands across the Caribbean.
