The General Employees Cooperative Credit Union Ltd (GECCU) will distribute 100 food baskets to its needy members as part of the ongoing activities for their 50th Anniversary celebrations.
GECCU says it is cognizant of the role that their elderly members have played in building the Credit Union over the last 50 years and has organized this event as part of its thrust to exercise its Corporate and Social Responsibility.
It is also using this opportunity to reiterate the Credit Union Philosophy of “People Helping People” .
The first of these 100 baskets will be distributed in Bequia today with a short ceremony at Sailor’s Cafe beginning at 1:00pm.
