Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries Saboto Caesar has identified transportation as one of the major challenges facing the fisheries sector today.
Minister Caesar raised the issue, as he spoke at the Closing Ceremony for the 2014 Fisherman’s Day Competition last week.
He told the gathering that Fisherfolk across St. Vincent and the Grenadines are ready to increase their exports, but they are being hampered by the absence of an international airport.
