Blondie Bird and Friends has won the Band of the Year Title with its presentation Heat.
The Band amassed 554 points to beat last year’s winner SVG Players International into second place with Beyond the Rainbow with 522 points.
Digicel Nelson Block placed third with We Drinking; High Voltage fourth with Tech Fantasy and Dragons Cultural Organization fifth with Say it with Flowers in the Dragons Garden.
Meanwhile … In the Queen of the Band Competition Jennilee Glasgow from SVG Players International placed first with Somewhere over the Rainbow; Semone Richardson from Blondie Bird and Friends took the second spot with Fire and Ice.
In the King of the Band category Gordon Tarya Boucher from Melbourne Artisan first with the Grinich who stole Christmas and Ricardo Adams – Blondie Bird and Friends second with his portraya fireworks.
And … Delroy Fireman Hooper has much to celebrate, after he won the first and second spots for the Road March Competition with his songs “Unruly” and “Rum Meeting”.
The third spot was taken by Lancelot Mad Skull Gloster-Scott with his hit “Family”.
