Carnival festivities on the Grenadine island of Canouan are scheduled to kick off later this month.
The activities, which will open on Friday July 25th, are being organized by the group Club Nuevo under the theme “Just the Ultimate Summer event in the Grenadines”.
Vice President and PRO of Club Nuevo, Hansel Henry tells NBC News, that this is the 16th year they are hosting the activities and thus far preparations are progressing smoothly.
He also outlined the activities which they will be holding as part of their carnival celebrations.
Mr. Henry said every year their Carnival activities are dubbed a huge success and he is expecting this to continue for 2014.
He is also encouraging persons down to Canouan for their celebrations.
