Richard Hoyte defeated Antonio Cain 4-2, 4-1 and Akeil De Roche overcame Randell Williams 4-1, LOVE-4, 7-2 yesterday in the Boys 14 and under Singles semi-finals of the Vita Malt National Tennis Tournament at the National Tennis Centre at Villa.

In the Boys 12 and under Singles semi-finals, Rio Connell edged past Afi Lucas 4-1, 4-2, while Akeil De Roche had the better of Riley Delany 4-LOVE, 4-LOVE.

Earlier in the Boys 18 and under Singles quarter-finals, Imani King eased past Josh Mounsey 6-4, 6-4, Akeem Guy whipped Ronnie Richardson 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE, Seabastian Cyrus powered past Luke Browne 6-LOVE, 6-2 and Taj Ballantyne defeated Alex Cyrus 6-3, 6-3.

Alexei Humphrey had a 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE victory over Kamara Williams and Myka Williams beat Beyounce Winter 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE in the Girls 16 and under Singles quarter-finals.

In the Boys 14 and under Doubles semi-finals, Akeil De Roche and Antonio Cain defeated Miguel Francis and Randill Williams LOVE-4, 4-2, 7-4, while Richard Hoyte and Malcolm Winter beat Rio Connell and Riley Delany 4-LOVE, 4-2.

And, Sebastian Cyrus and Alex Cyrus whipped Taj Ballantyne and Luke Browne 6-3, 6-4, while Imani King and Akeem Guy had a 6-1, 6-4 win over Josh Mounsey and Ronnie Richardson in the Boys 18 and under Doubles semi-finals.

The Tournament continues today at the same venue.
