Head of Soil and Water Conservation in the Ministry of Agriculture, Gertheryn Bascombe is calling on Vincentians to participate in activities which will ensure National Food Security and Land Conservation.
He tells NBC News that it is also important for persons to educate themselves about issues relating to Land Degradation and Desertification.
Mr. Bascombe also outlined a number of safety tips for Vincentians to follow in ensuring that they protect the environment.
