SVG Post Office beat National Lotteries Authority 3-1 in one of several matches played in the Digicel/St. Vincent Brewery/Aeropost Breakaway Firm’s Invitational Football Championship which got underway at the weekend at the Grammar School Playing Field.
In other results, a goal each from Benford Joseph and Elsworth Alexander secured a 2-1 win for SVG Port Authority over Customs and Excise. Kosinski Adams scored the goal for Customs Excise.
A Winston Harry goal was enough to give Fisheries a 1-nil win over KFC.
And, Bonadie defeated Gibson’s Building Supplies 1-nil through a goal from Julian Trimmingham.
And in the Agricultural Imput Warehouse Under-15 Competition, Layou beat System (3) team (2) 4-1. Gilbert Nash (2) and one each from Shorn Samuel and Micha Robinson were the goal scorers for Layou.
Zamaro scored the goal for System (3) team (2).
And, a goal each from Zedane Simmons, Kamaal Theobalds and Rolando Adams gave Central Shooters a 3-nil victory over United Strikers.
This afternoon, A-DARE will meet Volcano in the Under-15 Competition anytime now and at half past four Prime Minister’s Office will oppose Ministry of Health and the Environment.
