Appeal Made To Vincentians To Participate In Protecting The Environment

Vincentians are being urged to play a greater role in protecting the natural environment.

Acting Director of Forestry, Fitzgerald Providence, made the appeal on a NBC’s Radio Discussion Program, which focused on aspects of forests and river conservation as well as the protection of the nation’s watershed areas.

He said the protection of the natural environment is the responsibility of every individual.
Mr. Providence said the protection of the forest environment will have a lasting positive impact on the coastal environment, which are all crucial to the economic development of the country.
