The Traffic Department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said it was able to achieve a number of its objectives for the year 2014.
That’s according to Station Sergeant Junior Nero of the Traffic Department during the Police On the Beat programme aired on NBC Radio on Monday night.
Sergeant Nero said one of the major highlights of the year was the significant reduction in road accidents as compared to the previous year.
Sergeant also Nero said one of the challenges faced in 2014 was the diversion of traffic to facilitate ongoing works on the rehabilitation of the Leeward highway.
