The 2015 Synod being hosted by the Catholic Church in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is set to open here this evening with a Holy Mass at the Cathedral in Kingstown.
The Synod is being held from January 22nd to 25th, as part of activities to celebrate the Church’s 25th year as a Diocese.
Speaking at a Media Launch for the Synod this week, Monseignor Michael Stewart said the Synod will start and end with Holy Mass.
Meanwhile, a number of resolutions will be considered during the two working days of the Synod, to take place on Friday and Saturday at the Community College.
