Minister of Social Development, Frederick Stevenson, said the Ministry continues to implement reforms aimed at improving the delivery of social services to Vincentians.
He spoke of these initiatives during his contribution to the 2015 national Budget Debate in Parliament on Friday.
Minister Stevenson said research and evaluations were conducted to determine the demand in relation to the supply of services in a socially evolved society.
Minister Stevenson also said the Family Affairs division was restructured to meet the new mandates identified in the new family legislation.
