Zita Vincent won the Girls Under-15 category in a time of 23 minutes, 01.12 seconds in last Sunday’s Team Athletics SVG Final 5K Road Race from Arnos Vale to Kingstown.

Second was Sarika Hooper in 24 minutes, 26.71 seconds and Odesha John of the X-CEED Sports Club in 24 minutes, 32.47 seconds.

The Under-15 Boys won by Newman Peters of the St. Martins Secondary School in 20 minutes, 49.05 seconds, second Truloni McKenzie also of St. Martins Secondary School in 21 minutes, 08.41 seconds and Markie Edwards of the Petit Bordel Secondary in 22 minutes, 21.75 seconds.

Shaqueil LaBorde of the Petit Bordel Secondary School won the Under-19 Girls in 26 minutes, 29.68 seconds, followed by Kerry-Ann Small of the Technical College in 29 minutes, 38 seconds.

The Girls Under-19s was won by Akani Slater of IT-DAT in 17 minutes, 58.08 seconds, second Orenzo Trimmingham of Rising Stars Basketball Club in 18 minutes, 13.03 seconds and Slyford Lampkin third in 18 minutes, 35.44 seconds.

Linda McDowall of IT-DAT won the Open Women’s event is 19 minutes, 03.65 seconds, followed by Sheva Butcher of X-CEED Sports Club in 26 minutes, 22.12 seconds and Sandreka Hooper of the Richmond Vale Academy in 27 minutes, 52.19 seconds.

Pamenos Ballantyne won the Open Men’s event in 16 minutes, 42.76 seconds and second Junior Ashton of X-CEL Sport Club in 17 minutes, 03.55 seconds.
Samantha Lynch won the Over-40 Women’s in 28 minutes, 50.65 seconds, Marguerite Douglas was 2nd in 30 minutes, 39.05 seconds and 3rd Denisha Harry in 39 minutes, 13.31 seconds.

And, veteran runner Caswin Prince won the Over-40 Men’s event in 19 minutes, 14.86 seconds, second Kentish Bowens in 20 minutes, 43.18 seconds and JOON-YAH Garrick third in 23 minutes, 22.88 seconds. The next Event will be a Mini Meet at Victoria Park on Saturday from nine am. Registration will close today.
