
The workshop on: Simulation Tools for Energy Efficiency in Caribbean Buildings, will run from today to Friday.
It’s part of a 12-million US dollar Regional Pilot Project, which is being implemented under the Global Environment Facility-United Nations Environment Program.
Speaking at this morning’s opening ceremony National Coordinator for energy for sustainable Development in Caribbean buildings Ellsworth Dacon said the project is taking place in five Caricom countries and aims at enhancing energy efficiency in Caribbean buildings.
Mr. Dacon said following the workshop persons would be better equipped with the tools to lower their overall bill.
