Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has confirmed the commitment of the Government to ensuring that transportation is available for students across the country.
Delivering the feature address at this afternoon’s ceremony, Dr. Gonsalves noted that transportation for school children is subsidized by the Government.
The Prime Minister explained that the Government also provides a subsidy for private buses which transport school children.
The new Bus was purchased to transport students from Fancy, replacing the one that was destroyed during the Rock Gutter Accident on January 12th.
