The Alliance Franchise is currently preparing to kick off a ten-day Healthy Soil, Planet, People Festival, running from next Monday May 11th until May 21st.

The program will be held in collaboration with the Inivershall Rastafari Movement (IRM), Chatoyer Gardens and the Richmond Vale Academy at the Carnegie building in Kingstown.

PRO of the Inivershall Rastafari Movement, Empress Modupe Jacobs said the program is in keeping with the 2015 World Climate Change reunion in Paris and the United Nations celebrating 2015 as the “International Year of Soils – healthy soils for a healthy life.

She said the ten-day festival is for all Vincentians to find out more about where food comes from, eating the right foods to feel better and how to plant food organically without the use of chemicals.
