The Fisheries Division in the Ministry of Agriculture will host its Annual Japan Day program on Friday, as part of activities to observe Fisherman’s month 2015.
The Division is hosting 40 days of activities this year, to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Fisherman’s Day.
Chief Fisheries Officer, Jennifer Cruickshank Howard said since the launch of this year’s program a number of successful events have held.
Mrs. Cruickshank Howard said the Japan Day will be held this Friday from 10:00 am at the Fisheries Complex in Kingstown.
This year’s activities are being held theme: Forty Years of Harvest, Accept no less, Fish is the best” and with the slogan: Put a Fish on Your Dish.
