A three-day workshop entitled ‘Strengthening Reef Management Practices on the Grenada Bank’ will be held next month in Union Island.
The Sustainable Grenadines Inc (SusGren) will host the workshop to mark the fifth anniversary of the Grenadines Network of Marine Protected Areas MPAs, which provides technical assistance, small grant funding and networking opportunities to MPA managers in Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The workshop will review the findings of the coral reef research expedition conducted jointly with the various MPA’s from Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines last year September.
Participants will also discuss the outcomes of the small grants that were provided to members of the Grenadines Network of MPAs in 2014.
The workshop takes place from June 15th – 17th, at the Learning Resource Centre in Union Island.
