Preschoolers from all over St. Vincent and the Grenadines will descend on the Arnos Vale Playing Field today for the Sports and Fun Day which forms part of Child Month 2015
Senior Education Officer in charge of Early Childhood Education, Gwynette Cambridge tells NBC News, this comes as they continue to ensure the holistic development of the nation’s children.
Mrs. Cambridge said this morning’s event commences at 9:00am and she is encouraging parents and guardians to attend.
She also reiterated that it should not be viewed as a competition for the children.
Mrs. Cambridge also outlined a number of the activities which the children will be involved in today.
Child Month 2015 is being observed under the theme: Nutrition and Play: Healthy Children Today.
