The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is continuing to make significant progress with its thrust towards investing in renewable energy.
This assurance came from Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves as he addressed Vincentians in attendance at a Town Hall Meeting held in Reading (Red-ing) England on Saturday.
Dr. Gonsalves said Energy is an issue of high priority for the Government, and work is already underway, to enhance this country’s capacity to produce hydro power.
The Prime Minister said significant progress is also being made in relation to developing solar energy. But he noted that Geothermal Energy will be the game-changer for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
