The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association in conjunction with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will hold a (WICB) Foundation Cricket Course at the President Suite of the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on the 29th and 30th of June from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
Two (WICB) Officials will be in attendance, and will assist with the supervision of the Course.
Territorial Development Officer for the Windward Islands, Irvin Warrican has conducted similar assessments of coaches for this Course in other Caribbean Islands. He is also the lead coordinator for this programme in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This Foundation Course will be targeting 30 Kiddy Cricket Coaches in various Primary Schools throughout the country.
Topics to be covered at the Course are: Coaching Partway, Foundation Course, Level (1), Level (2) and Level (3) and Tutor/Assessor Course.
Prerequisite for this Course are A Police Record, Child Protection Certificate and A First Aid Certificate from a recognize Organization.
