Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves extended condolences and sympathy to the Johnson family of Spring Village, on behalf of the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Three people died from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on Sunday, when the vehicle in which they were travelling overturned at Coull’s Hill.
Police say Denzil Johnson and George Johnson reportedly died at the scene, while Isilma died at the Troumaca Health Centre.
Speaking on his return from an OECS Heads of Government meeting in Grenada yesterday, Dr. Gonsalves said tributes were raised at the recent OECS meeting by the regional heads.
And, Corporal Henry Providence of the local Police Force said every effort will be made to improve the level of safety on the nation’s roads this carnival season.
