The 54th Annual Jaycees International Queen Show

St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented in the 54th Annual Jaycees International Queen Show scheduled to take place in Antigua/Barbuda later this month.

The First Runner Up in the 2015 Miss SVG Pageant, Vickeich Charles will represent this country in the Pageant.

The Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation, the CDC, says the Pageant will be held under the theme: One region one people many cultures.

The Show will be held at the Antigua Recreations Grounds in St John’s, on Sunday July 26th, following the opening of Carnival in Antigua/Barbuda on Saturday July 25th. All 13 contestants in the Pageant are required to make a guest appearance at the opening show on July 25th

The Contestants will be judged in: Swimwear: 50 points; Talent- 50 points. Evening Wear and Modeling Skills- 60 points; Interview-60 points.

The introductory appearance in national wear/costumes will not be judged. The Prizes include: a Cruise for two; a Cash Prize of US $3000.00; Jewelry; Airline Ticket; and Electronics. The official Host Hotel will be Rex Halcyon Resorts.

The Vincentian delegate Vickeich Charles, is scheduled to leave the state on Thursday July 23rd, accompanied by her chaperone Anique Francois. They are scheduled to return to the state on Monday July 27th.
