The Public Health department has expressed concern with the high cost of cleaning up the capital Kingstown following the staging of events such as the just concluded Vincy Mas 2015 festivities.
The concern was raised by Senior Environmental Health Officer, Carlos Wilson, Speaking on NBC’s Face to Face programme this morning.
Mr. Wilson is therefore calling on persons to use the facilities provided by the authorities to dispose of waste and to relieve themselves in a more sanitary manner.
Meanwhile, Mr. Wilson expressed gratitude to the various food-handlers for the improved level of compliance during the carnival festivities.
