A graduation ceremony will be held here on Friday, to mark the close of a Regional Security System Basic Course, involving participants from six regional territories, including St. Vincent and the Grenadines
The participating countries are: Antigua/Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts/Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The topics being covered are: Internal Security, Map Reading, Weapons Training, Field Craft and Disaster Preparedness. The lessons are being taught by Instructors from various countries.
A release from the Police says the aim of this Course is to teach students basic military training and to develop camaraderie among participating countries.
The Course will culminate with a Graduation ceremony at the Old Montrose Police Training School on Friday from 4:00pm.
