The National Insurance Services (NIS) says it is continuing with its work to enhance the services which it offers to Vincentians while increasing its public sensitization campaigns.
Executive Director of the NIS, Reginald Thomas said the NIS will be more aggressive with the Public Awareness Campaign as part of its reform initiative.
As part of this initiative, a Customer Service Desk has been set up to deal with different queries to speed up the process of how benefits are paid.
Mr. Thomas said this process is expected to assist in having more Vincentians covered under the social security umbrella.
Mr. Thomas said the NIS aims to have its services cater specifically to the needs of workers in the different sectors across the country.
