The International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) has pledged its continued support towards strengthening community resilience in countries of the region.
Coordinator of the IFRC), Daniel Cott, gave the assurance while addressing today’s launch of a new Disaster Risk Reduction Program for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Mr. Cott said the main objective of the IFRC is to support and strengthen national societies to save and protect lives.
Mr. Cott said the region continues to make progress in its disaster management efforts.
