The CARICOM Youth Ambassadors’ (S.V.G.) Committee is opening applications for new members today.
The Committee, assigned under the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors of St. Vincent andthe Grenadines, is charged with the responsibility of deepening regional integration efforts on a national level, and is open to youth aged 18 to 30 years.
The Committee’s tenure will run from January to December 2016, during which time Committee Members are expected to participate in several campaigns and initiatives geared towards the promotion of the agendas of CARICOM and CSME, and raising awareness on social issues such as HIV/AIDS and the prevention of violence against women and girls.
Applications will close on 7 November, 2015 and candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed.
