The Expendables are the new Hairoun Barrouallie Knockout Football Champions.
They won the Title at the Keartons Playing Field yesterday afternoon following a 3-1 victory over Rose Hall in a penalty shoot-out after a goalless draw at the end of regulation time during which Rose Hall squandered several scoring opportunities.
In an earlier match yesterday, Glebe Strikers defeated Predators FC of Fitz Hughes 2-1 to book a semi-final place in the League Championship.
Their opponents will be Emerald Stars.
Nolan O’Garro scored the two goals for Glebe Strikers while Kevin Small converted the goal for Predators FC of Fitz Hughes.
At 4:15 pm today, QCESCO and Hill View will meet in the last quarter-final game also at the Keartons Playing Field.
