The Division of Nursing Education Performing Arts Club (DONEPAC) has taken the decision to defer their 2015 BOSVG Theatre Arts Festival performance to January 2016.
The performance was originally set for tonight through Sunday night.
However, challenges with completing certain technical arrangement for set, sound and lighting and the staging of a major event in close proximity to the venue, the Peace Memorial Hall, has led to the postponement.
This group said the decision was taken in the interest of the standard of the festival and the provision of a quality production for patrons, drama enthusiasts and its sponsors, BOSVG.
It follows several meetings between the group, the Department of Culture and the Dean of Nursing Education.
DONEPAC apologizes to the Vincentian public for any inconvenience which may be caused by the postponement.
The festival will continue next Friday November 13th with a production by the Community College Performing Arts Society (PAS), entitled: “L.I.F.E”.
