There were victories for Bequia All-Stars, Union Island Stars and Canouan Islanders in last weekend’s opening matches of the Digicel Grenadines Basketball Championship at the Canouan Hard Court.
The current points standing is headed by Bequia with 30 points, Union Island with 25 points, Canouan 20 points and Mayreau 15 points.
The next round of matches will be played at the Ashton Hard in Union Island. Tomorrow at 7 pm, Bequia will meet Canouan and at 9 pm, Union Island will face Mayreau. Saturday’s matches will be between Canouan and Mayreau at 8 pm and at 10 pm, Union Island will oppose Bequia. On Sunday at 7 pm, Bequia will play against Mayreau, while Union Island and Canouan will square-off at 9 pm.
