The St. Vincent Grammar School defeated Bequia Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School 48-30 in yesterday’s match in the Boys’ Division of the Secondary Schools Basketball Championships at the New Montrose Basketball Facility in Kingstown.
Jermine John, with 26 points, was the leading scorer for the St. Vincent Grammar School. Johnson Compton scored 10 points to top score for Bequia Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School.
At 1:30 pm today, the Girls High School will meet Petit Bordel Secondary School in the Girls Division of the Championships, and will be followed at 3 pm by the match between Bishops College Kingstown and West St. George Secondary School.
Both matches will be played at the New Montrose Basketball Facility.
