Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany- Dr. Angela Merkel has expressed sincere congratulations on the re-election of Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, as Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
In a recent letter to the Prime Minister, Dr. Angela Merkel said Germany and St. Vincent and the Grenadine have long enjoyed amicable relations.
She added that the cooperation between the two countries, based on trust and partnership is particularly important within the United Nations; and said, she is certain that they will be able to further develop and build on this cooperation in the future.
Dr. Angela Merkel further wished Prime Minister Gonsalves unabated drive and every success for the tasks ahead, as he continue in his role as head of government in SVG.
