Ceremonial handing over of supplies

Today will see the opening of the Public Services Statutory Bodies Games at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex at 6 pm.

The opening will hear addresses from Director of Sports, Nelson Hillocks, Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Cecil Mc Kie, Luke Brown, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment and Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

The addresses will take place in between several Exhibition Games, as a select team from the Division of Physical Education and Sports will take on the defending champions in Football, the Ministry of Transport and Works, and in Volleyball, the Ministry of Education.

There will also be Games in Table Tennis and Dominoes, and the highlight of the evening will be a Street Twenty/20 Cricket match between the Parliamentarians featuring Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Luke Browne, Cecil Mc Kie, Julian Francis and others.

They will play against former National and West Indies female Cricketers employed with the Sports Division, Cordel Jack and Juliana Nero.

Other female Cricketers includes Samantha Lynch and Hazle-Ann Foster.
