International Girls in ICT Day will be observe tomorrow, and to mark the day, Telecommunications Company Digicel SVG Limited is partnering with the Information Technology Service Division to host third and fourth form female students from secondary schools at a workshop.
The workshop geared at inspiring young girls to choose and pursue a career in Information and Communication Technology
ICT takes place at Digicel Call Centre Conference Room, upstairs Browne’s Building on Grenville Street in Kingstown from nine tomorrow morning.
The Girls in ICT initiative is a global effort to raise awareness on empowering and encouraging girls and young women to consider studies and careers in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
