The Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (RBTT) here has instructed that all personal deposit would be charge a fixed fee each month.

According to the memo displayed on the bank counters, effective May 23rd the bank will be introducing its withdrawal from a person’s “personal deposits”.

Tellers at the bank confirmed that the fee would amount to $25.00. However it is not clear as to whether customers over sixty will be charge the same amount.

There have been a lot of mixed reactions on the street regarding the new charges as many Vincentians view it as a high cost for their banking transactions.
