Co-ordinator of Rural Carnival Activities for the Carnival Development Corporation, CDC, Ezzie Roberts is appealing for more local music to be played, especially during rural Carnival events.
He said it is important for local entertainers to have their music heard as the 2016 Vincy Mas Season heats up.
Mr. Roberts said this continues to be a challenge even though many local artistes have already released music for Vincy Mas 2016.
He said Deejays continue to play mainly foreign music during the Vincy Mas.
He is also appealing to Rural Carnival Committees to ensure that the Deejays they hire, play and promote the local music which has been produced for Vincy Mas, during their events.
