The rest of the region can learn positive lessons from St. Vincent and the Grenadines in promoting healthy eating that is the word of Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Regional Advisor on Non Communicable Diseases (NCD’s), Dr.Tomo Kanda.
She noted that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is the first country in the region to implement a Healthy Village, Healthy Island project, and the Salt Reduction initiative dubbed Salt Smart Coalition which was launched during this week, is also a step in the right direction.
